Pray For Our Leaders

Bringing our President and our nation before God, to whom all leaders and people are accountable, is the most effective way to support our country as patriotic Americans. Prayer is the best way to uphold our leaders and to bring about positive change in hearts and minds. Together we are fighting a spiritual battle that threatens our religious freedoms, our futures and those of generations to follow.

Politics, events and popular culture can change and even alter the very fabric of our nation. But God does not change. When we appeal to Him in prayer, He hears us and answers our prayers in accordance with His perfect will. He hears and answers the prayers of His people for our country.

Praying with The Presidential Prayer Team enables you to build on the heritage of faith and prayer begun with our Founding Fathers – the heritage that continues today. Join with millions of like-minded believers as we praise God for our nation, our freedoms and for the protection and blessings He provides as we go about our daily lives. (from the Presidential Prayer Team website)

I Timothy 2:1-2 ~ I exhort therefore, that first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and all that are in authority: that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Proverbs 21:1 ~ The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He will.

Lord, we need Your Mercy as a nation. Turn our hearts to seek after You instead of our own selfishness and comfort. May our leaders see You as the One whom they must honor and serve. We ask in your Holy Name. Amen
